Icelandic Glacier Truck is Built Fjord Tough

The story goes that Greenland and Iceland got their names, despite antithetical topographies, because the residents of Iceland wanted to keep out the riff-raff. Although not truly covered with ice, the North Atlantic nation does still possess a number of remnants of the last ice age, including a large number of glaciers. Unlike in Alaska where people just look at glaciers from the decks of cruise ships and then go inside for a hot toddy and the buffet, in Iceland they drive on them, and to do so, you need one big-ass truck. This three axle Ford sports tires typical of the glacier trucks, and their likely road noise would make this truck a delight to drive next to on the freeway, snow kidding.
